AMSOIL and Wappman Motorsports Sponsoring The Kumho Tires 12 Hours at Summit Point Race

AMSOIL Inc., a leader in synthetic lubricants, and Wappman Motorsports, an AMSOIL dealer, are contingency sponsors of the fifth annual Kumho Tires 12 Hours at Summit Point to be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004, in Summit Point West Virginia.

December 19 2003--"We are pleased to offer this sponsorship for The Kumho Tires 12 Hours at the Point," said Bruce Wappman, owner of Wappman Motorsports and driver of the company's Plymouth Neon.

"I have been a team owner and driver in the event for the past three years, and I am excited about providing an incentive to the 50 plus teams that will be competing in this year's race."

Over $1500 worth of AMSOIL products will be awarded to racers and volunteer workers after the checker flag is dropped at midnight concluding 12 hours of racing at the Point. This grueling once-around-the-clock race is the longest perennially held amateur endurance event sanctioned by Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).

?SCCA Club racing drivers are not accustomed to prize money or contingency prizes,? added Wappman. "I know that the entrants in this years event will be very please to see AMSOIL and the other sponsors that have stepped up to offers prizes."

Not only will the racers on the track have an opportunity to take home some AMSOIL products, but some of the more than 200 volunteers who help to put the event on will also have a chance to receive AMSOIL products.

"It takes a large number of people to organize and run this great event. I wanted to offer them a thank you," said Wappman
